Simplex Elevators are taking the Coronavirus Pandemic very seriously. Following advice from Health Authorities and Professionals, the company has implemented a robust action plan to combat and reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Here at Simplex, our clients, staff and the communities in which we operate are our number one priority.
To minimize and reduce the spread of the virus, all technicians have been instructed in the companies Hygiene & Safe Work Policies and equipped with Personal Protection Equipment and Hygiene Packs which include Alcohol Wipes, Hand Sanitizers, Masks and Disposable Gloves to use during the course of their daily actions and when on site.
Simplex technicians are committed to the wearing of appropriate Personal Protection Equipment and Masks, particularly when travelling through identified high-risk areas and they will apply Social Distancing to limit contact with other persons and customers, inclusive of customer’s pets, as much as possible.
Our team members or attending technicians will make contact prior to attending the site to further understand and comply with any site-specific policies. We will also ask a few specific questions in meeting compliance with the companies Pre-Site Attendance Check List.
Simplex has also implemented a non-contact signature method of confirming attendance to limit any contact between our staff and the customer with bare hands. Regular cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas, before and after site works, have also been implemented and increased.
We have asked all team members to be transparent with their health. If anyone shows or starts to display flu-like systems, they will need to consult a doctor immediately and seek approval before they are permitted to return to work. Any client contact with the team member will be notified immediately.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue to monitor the situation closely and act accordingly on the advice of the State and Federal Governments and Health Authorities.
